Coach of Middlebury College Ski Team; Founder of Mid-Vermont Junior Skiing Council. Started with Joe and Ann forming the Mid-Vermont Junior Skiing Council to promote skiing and to develop skiers within a 30-60 mile radius of Rutland in 1956. Included Ascutney, Killington, Middlebury, Okemo, Pico, and Woodstock after 9 years. Jones also promoted the development of Nordic programs for younger children, including trail building.
