Middlebury College skiing and Snow Bowl - directed skiing program   and mountain development (1945-1951), including a 50 meter jump.        Jones coached Rick and Suzy Chaffee;   Mike Gallagher; Harry "Rebel" Ryan; Rip McManus; Marsha Fletcher   Wilson.

Coach of Middlebury College Ski Team; Founder of Mid-Vermont   Junior Skiing Council. Started with Joe and Ann forming the Mid-Vermont   Junior Skiing Council to promote skiing and to develop skiers within a 30-60   mile radius of Rutland in 1956. Included Ascutney, Killington, Middlebury,   Okemo, Pico, and Woodstock after 9 years. Jones also promoted the development   of Nordic programs for younger children, including trail building.
