Probably with his father, but definitely Kimball Union was a big   start.

What was your experience in the 10th like?

[He] never really talked about it. Just that he disliked the   mules. Camp Hale and Leadville had many memories. Italian people were very   nice to them.

Why did you join the 10th?

To teach skiing to the 10th that did not know how to ski.

Taught ski school in New York from 502 to early 60s in Manlius-Pompey-Fayetteville   area.

Vermont Ski Area Connection
